NAS hosts exclusive previews ahead of VJAM deployment.

NAS has given Australia its first taste of d&b audiotechnik’s new CCL system, with a string of private demos held in recent days. The compact line array, which delivers surprising output and clarity from a deceptively small footprint, has drawn an enthusiastic response from those lucky enough to hear it in action.

The first system was sold to Sightline Productions in Sydney. Before heading to its new home with VJAM in Tasmania, part of the second system was held at NAS HQ in Melbourne for a few days to preview to customers. The reaction? Overwhelmingly positive.

“Everyone who’s heard it has been blown away by what it can do,” said Anthony Murdoch from NAS. “From the clarity and cardioid pattern control to the punch of the 15-inch subs, it’s incredible how much performance d&b has packed into such a compact design.”

More demo opportunities are planned for later this year as additional stock arrives. Those interested in experiencing the CCL system firsthand are encouraged to contact NAS for details.
