Thursday, 1 October 2015
From across the country, consultants, production companies, venue owners, systems integrators and houses of worship, new and old to d&b, gathered together for the day.

Australian d&b Distributor National Audio Systems (NAS) held its second partner meeting at Festival Hall in Melbourne last month. From across the country, consultants, production companies, venue owners, systems integrators and houses of worship, new and old to d&b, gathered together for the day.

Proceedings were hosted by regional d&b EAS manager, Gert Sanner, and new Technical Sales Specialist, Brian Vayler, who recently joined d&b from NAS. The duo put the spotlight on ArrayProcessing and the new V-Series point sources and shared insights into future releases. Listening sessions and education also featured on the agenda, as did, for the sake of global consistency, plenty of coffee and conversation.

NAS MD Shane Bailey explained why bringing everyone together is key to building and maintaining a community ethos. “Staying connected to customers is what we’ve hoped and strived for. d&b have always had a family vibe. It’s the way d&b present in Germany, and we try and emulate that here. It works really well, and now the range has expanded into installation products, we’re finding that at the partner meetings there’s system integrators as well as production and rental partners.”
