CASE STUDIES & TESTIMONIALS

Real-World solutions for every project.

Bunjil Place Theatre

25/11/25NAS
Bunjil Place upgraded its theatre’s audio with a d&b Soundscape immersive package. Factory Sound’s clever system design, combined with d&b’s increasingly user-friendly front-end software, enables seamless switching between traditional stereo/LCR and full object-based mixing.

Pinehurst Theatre

21/11/25NAS
As a leading private school on Auckland’s North Shore, Pinehurst School had a clear vision for a state-of-the-art, professional and flexible venue that would meet the high expectations and myriad needs of their school community. Having previously received a design with a recommended budget of $1.6 million, which was deemed excessive, Pinehurst School approached Halogen Avenue for solution to their needs.

d&b CCL Australian Launch at City Recital Hall

10/11/25NAS
The fantastic turnout was topped only by the glowing feedback from many who heard CCL in action for the first time.

Merivale Pubs

31/10/25NAS
Merivale invested in Absen LED screens for two Sydney venues: The Beresford Hotel in Surry Hills and The Vic on the Park in Marrickville. These large-scale outdoor courtyard displays, installed in time for the 2025 sports season, aim to transform the sports viewing experience for patrons.

d&b CCL takes Tassie by storm

18/7/25NAS
Matt Neil is a true believer in the d&b offering. As VJAM’s General Manager, Matt has bought and spec’d d&b systems for well over a decade. The Launceston warehouse stocks a rig on its shelves for every size and application, including XSL, KSL, Y-Series, M-Series monitors, and now CCL.

Zinc at Fed Square (V2.0)

16/7/25NAS
The KLCOB range includes a black polymer coating that improves contrast and minimises reflections, giving the screen a rich, refined look that suits a high-end function space.
Brands:

Big Screen Bang for Buck at Iona College

11/4/25NAS
Stage three of their four stage plan finished up in late 2024 and delivered, amongst other things, a duplication and expansion of the existing gym. It doubles as a performance and presentation area complete with 1000 retractable seats, a new PA, AVoIP system, and two magnificent LED screens flanking the stage.

Carey Grammar Theatre

4/4/25NAS
Factory Sound was engaged to design an audio upgrade. A key design decision was to opt for d&b Y-Series point source loudspeakers instead of a line array. Sure, line arrays are common in theatre spaces, but this is a particularly narrow venue plus it has a glass balcony front – a no-go audio zone.

The Round Performing Arts Theatre

10/3/25NAS
Whitehorse City Council in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne knew it needed to replace its aging Whitehorse Centre, bit the bullet, and fully funded the necessary $78m investment to create a new landmark venue for its community.
